Keto Sesame Buns
These sesame buns have a nice density and crust, making them the perfect go-to when planning to grill keto bread in a pan or a panini press.
They are perfecting for making a Cuban sandwich (see our Keto Cubano recipe), one of my all time favs!
Ingredients
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup psyllium husk powder
1/4 cup flaxmeal
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup water, boiled
3 large eggs
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp sesame seeds
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Directions
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, psyllium husk powder, flaxmeal, baking soda and salt. Set the dry ingredients aside.
In a small bowl, using a handmixer, whisk the eggs until frothy. Incorporate the melted butter and vinegar.
Whisk the egg mixture gradually into the dry ingredients.
Add the boiled water and stir well with a silicone or wooden spoon, then allow the dough to rest 5 min and absorb the liquid.
Shape the dough into 6 balls and place then spaced out on a parchment lined baking seed. Sprinkle the buns with the seame seeds, then flatten slightly.
Bake 30 min and allow to cool completely.
Store the slices in the fridge or freeze them.
