Air Fryer Korean-Style Green Beans (Keto)

These air fryer green beans are SOOOOO yummy! Tossed in a Korean sauce, they make the perfect side to any savoury dish or even mixed into a salad for a little extra kick.

Ingredients

1 lbs (approx. 0.5 kg) green beans
1 tsp avocado oil
1/2 tsp salt

Korean sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 scallion, minced
1 Tbsp Korean red pepper powder
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
1/2 tsp stevia

Directions

Prepare the Korean sauce by mixing all the ingredients together in a small bowl.

In a large bowl, toss the green beans in the avocado oil, salt and 1 Tbsp of the Korean sauce. The remaining sauce can be refrigerated or frozen for later use, or you can use it to season an accompanying protein of choice.

Transfer the green beans to the air fryer, then air fry at 400F for 12 min.

Serve with the main dish of choice. These Korean-style green beans work wonderfully with Korean-flavoured salmon (see our Korean Salmon recipe) and a side of cauliflower rice.

If making our Korean salmon, you can just steal the 1 Tbsp of the Korean sauce from that recipe for the beans. 😉
