Air Fried Steak with Blue Cheese Sauce

Air frying steak is a quick and easy way to get a meal on the table, especially on those busy weekdays!

Drizzled with some blue cheese sauce will take it to another level, even if you a using a more budget-friendly cut.

Ingredients

4 sirloin steaks (or other cut), 8 oz each
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste

Blue cheese sauce
2 Tbsp blue cheese
2 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 Tbsp heavy cream
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Rub the steaks with the olive oil.

Sprinkle them with the chili powder, onion powder, and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Allow to rest at room temperature for 30 min.

Place the steaks in the air fryer at 400F, and air fry for 5-8 min.

While the steaks are in the air fryer, prepare the blue cheese sauce.

In a small bowl, whisk all the ingredients together. Any blue cheese will work wonderfully, but we usually use Stilton.

Taste and adjust seasoning, then set aside.

Once out of the air fryer, serve the steaks with a generous spoonful of the blue cheese sauce and the side of choice.
