Maple Bacon-Wrapped Chicken (Keto)

Bacon-wrapped chicken is quick and easy to prepare, making it perfect for weeknights or busy weekends. Adding some sugar-free maple syrup as a Canadian goes hand-in-hand with bacon.

Ingredients

3 large skinless chicken breasts, halved
12 bacon slices
1 Tbsp sugar-free maple syrup
2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Preheat the oven to 425F.

Use a paper towel to pat off excess moisture from the halved chicken breasts, then wrap 2 slices of bacon around each.

Please the halved chicken breasts into a baking dish, then drizzle with the sugar-free maple syrup.

Sprinkle with 1 tsp paprika, then season to taste with salt and pepper.

Bake for 20 min.

Remove the baking dish from the oven and drain any excess liquids.

Flip the chicken, then sprinkle the other side with the remaining paprika and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Bake for another 15-20 min, switching to broil for the last 2-3 min.

Serve the maple bacon-wrapped chicken with your choice of side. It pairs wonderfully with balsamic roasted radishes (see our Balsamic Roasted Radishes recipe) or a nice crisp salad.
