Korean Turkey Wings (Keto)
The often overlooked turkey wing is the perfect in between for drumstick and chicken wing lovers!
Once brined, you pop these Korean-inspired turkey wings into the air fryer, then enjoy all their fingerlicking flavour.
Ingredients
1 kg (about 2.2 lbs) turkey wings
1 Tbsp Swerve brown
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp Korean red pepper powder
2 tsp toasted sesame oil
2 tsp kosher salt
Korean sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 scallion, minced
2 Tbsp Korean red pepper powder
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
2 tsp toasted sesame oil
2 tsp fresh ginger, minced
2 tsp Swerve brown

Directions
In a large sealable container, combine the turkey wings with the Swerve brown, soy sauce, Korean red pepper powder, sesame oil and kosher salt.
Top off with water, so that the wings are covered. Stir the brine, cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
Once the turkey wings have brined at least 12 hours (the longer, the better), prepare the Korean sauce by mixing all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
Remove the turkey wings from the brine, shake off excess water and place in a large bowl.
Add the Korean sauce and toss well, then allow to rest 5 min.
Lightly grease the grill or insert for the air fryer, then add the turkey wings.
Air fry at 350F for 25-30 min, flipping or tossing the turkey wings halfway.
Serve with your favourite side. These wings pair wonderfully with Korean daikon salad.
