Grilled Chicken with Alabama White Sauce (Keto)
For a nice change from traditional BBQ sauces, this grilled chicken is topped with a keto version of Alabama white sauce (or white BBQ sauce) that is jam packed with flavour. My mouth is watering just thinking back to it!
Ingredients
3 large skinless chicken breasts, halved
1 Tbsp avocado oil
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Alabama white (BBQ) sauce
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
1 Tbsp Swerve brown
1 Tbsp horseradish
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp hot sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Pinch of cayenne
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions
Preheat the oven to 425F.
Use a paper towel to pat off any excess moisture from the halved chicken breasts, then place them on an aluminium lined baking sheet.
Drizzle with the avocado oil, then sprinkle with the seasoning and rub on both sides of each slice of chicken breast.
Bake for 25-30 min. While the chicken roasts, prepare the Alabama white sauce.
In a small bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning to preference, then set aside.
Once the chicken is ready, serve with a generous spoonful of Alabama white sauce and side of choice.
